Without them, there is no BYB. You are looking at the faces of BYB. The Senesac family is a dog family. You can see these 3 cute little rascals paying their visit to BYB every few months. Don't miss them!
What is BYB?
A language center established in 1985 in Torrance, CA. The founders Bill, Yoko & Bill initially launched BYB to help Japanese businessmen and their families become better English communicators in Los Angeles. Our homelike atmosphere and student-friendly approach has helped numerous students become proficient speakers while assisting them adapt to the new culture. It has now become a language center with a unique mixture of Japanese & American group that teach & learn from one another.

Jun Senesac
BYB Irvine - President

Son of Bill and Yoko. Born and raised in Los Angeles, Jun grew up learning both English and Japanese. After graduating from UCSB, Jun was hired as a Coordinator for International Relations in Ishikawa, Japan. There he served as a cultural ambassador where he helped promote cultural awareness and translated/interpreted for numerous international events.
Jun took advantage of living in Japan, traveling all over Southeast Asia. After completing his two year term in Japan, he returned to LA to follow the footsteps of his parents by opening BYB English Center in Irvine. His message to his students are simple. Language has given him the opportunity to travel the world and meet amazing people. So can you!
Bill and Yoko really know how to take care of their students. They've always put their students first going beyond simply teaching the language. Over the years, they have taken care of every student & teacher that has walked into BYB and watch each of them grow.
On the weekends you will find Bill and Yoko bike riding on their bikes. Cruising down the coast or trekking down treacherous mountains, you can bet they are enjoying that So Cal sun on their free time. Oh and can't forget to mention, they love their doggys!
“We're a family operated language school. We look forward to meeting you and helping you define your goals, develop a program that works for you - and realize them! So what are you waiting for, let's meet"
